I recently added something new to my bucket list. I want to learn to drive a motorcycle. It's kind of terrifying, but so are some of my other list items. Here they are (only the ones I have not yet completed):
- Ride an ostrich
- Visit all 50 states.
- Go skydiving (face my fear of falling).
- Shake hands with a clown (face my fear of clowns).
- Hike a fourteener (face my fear of heights).
- Fly in a hot air balloon (face my fear of heights).
- Give blood (face my fear of needles -- can't until 2012 b/c of my trip to Korea).
- When I have kids, natural childbirth.
- Homeschool my future children.
- Learn to ski.
- Visit Germany.
- Visit Australia.
- Visit Greece.
- Go on a safari.
- Visit Las Vegas.
- See the pyramids in Egypt.
- Go to the top of the Empire State Building.
- Own my own home.
- Read 100 books in 1 year (I've come so close!).
- Read the "1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die."
- Learn to read Arabic.
- Become fluent in Spanish.
- Learn sign language.
- Run a 5k.
- Run a marathon.
- Learn to ice skate.
- Write a book.
- Have said book published.
- Take a cross country road trip.
- Learn to ballroom dance.
- Learn to play piano.
- Visit Costa Rica.
- Be a living organ donor.
- Take a cruise.
- Go snorkeling.
- See Aerosmith in concert.
- Witness a volcano eruption first-hand.
- Be in a mosh-pit at a concert.
- Learn to ride a motorcycle.
It's not as long as some people's lists, but I already have a bunch crossed off of my list. For example:
- I learned to change my own oil.
- I learned to drive a manual (as opposed to an automatic).
- I visited Italy (and will be going back in September).
- I graduated high school with honors.
- I went away to college (over 700 miles away!).
- I graduated college with honors.
- I found my soulmate.
- I have rescued animals (and helped others rescue them as well).
- I became a vegetarian (3.5 years now!)
- I went on a trip with just the clothes on my back (a 5 day trip to Chicago when I was living in Charlotte).
- I've touched the Atlantic and Pacific oceans.
- I've been to the top of the Arch in St. Louis.
- I've been to the top of the Sears Tower.
- I've seen Michelangelo's David in person.
- I've walked through the Coliseum in Rome.
- I have been in North Korea (the DMZ).
- I have quit a job that I despised.
- I have found a job in a terrible economy.
- I moved to Colorado.
- I played the slots at a casino (and lost).
- I completed my honors thesis.
And, I am sure there are other things that I've completed that I can't even think of right now. I'm pretty please with how my list is going. Hopefully I still have many years to complete it!

Dude, you and I should go on a cruise to Hawaii. After this tour is over it will be my last state!!!
Love you bucket list ideas. I also have a fear of giving blood. I also have learning to ride a motorcycle on my bucket list. It makes me nervous watching riders though, but hopefully someday.
